TTE® Construction Principle 2 The ecological solution for traffic areas and useful areas
For movement of passenger cars and occasional heavy goods traffic (corresponds to RStO 01 BKL V/VI or RStO 12 Bk 0.3)
This assembly version combines strong load bearing capacity and intensity of use with a high intrinsic ecological value and vegetation capability . Because of the much lower requirements upon compaction of the substrate, TTE® achieves enormous retention, storage and full seepage of rain water. The existing top soil is improved upon by the structural component materials or replaced by a reduced base course layer. This offers both an economic and an ecological option for surface reinforcement.

TTE®-MultiDrainPLUS 2000
800 x 400 x 60 mm, ca. 8.6 kg/piece (ca. 27 kg/m2) Web thickness: 14 / 15 mm
Special features
- a strongly reduced base course layer
- near-natural decentralised storage and full seepage of precipitation waters / dewatering of neighbouring water flow off areas
- near-natural treatment of rain water by living soil passages
- only small amounts of building works required and and reduced costs
Example areas of application
- public passenger car parking spaces
- industrial workers and visitor parking spaces
- private courtyard fortifications and access roads
- entrances to fire stations and bypass roads with or without greening
- rural roads
- service roads
- ecological base layer for paving coverings or floor paving
TTE® Green 2

Properties

1) Equivalence of the load transfer verified through independent testing
2) Dimensioning as French drains on the basis of DWA-A 138
3) Determination and requirements upon soil passages according to DWA-A 138 / M 153
TTE® Paving 2

Rain water treatment with TTE® Paving
If rain water treatment is necessary due to the type, location or intensity of use of the planned traffic surface according to DWA-A 138/M 153, the gravel base course layer of the TTE® paving construction is replaced by the cleaning base course layer construction of the TTE® Green construction principle. Pre-treatment of polluted precipitation waters or flows of precipitation waters is achieved over the living soil passage and the ecological value of the surface is generally increased.
Properties

1) Equivalence of the load transfer verified through independent testing
2) Dimensioning as French drains on the basis of DWA-A 138
3) With a cleaning base course layer - requirements upon soil passages according to DWA-A 138 / M 153

Paving stone and slab coverings

Ballast and gravel surfaces

Simple and quick - the TTE® Construction Principle 2

1. Creation of the vegetation base course layer through integration of ballast into the top soil

2. Application of the bedding substrate to the planum

3. Laying of TTE® elements on the fine network

4. Insertion of the TTE® paving stones as parking place markings and a footpath

5. Distribution of the substrate into the other chambers and seeding

6. The finished TTE® parking space
